While walking down the street one day a Member of Parliament is tragically hit by a truck and dies.

His soul arrives in heaven and is met by St. Peter at the entrance.

'Welcome to heaven,' says St. Peter.

'Before you settle in, it seems there is a problem. We seldom see a high official around these parts, you see, so we're not sure what to do with you.'

'No problem, just let me in,' says the man.

'Well, I'd like to, but I have orders from higher up. What we'll do is have you spend one day in hell and one in heaven. Then you can choose where to spend eternity.'

'Really, I've made up my mind. I want to be in heaven,' says the MP.

'I'm sorry, but we have our rules.'

And with that, St. Peter escorts him to the elevator and he goes down, down, down to hell. The doors open and he finds himself in the middle of a green golf course. In the distance is a clubhouse and standing in front of it are all his friends and other politicians who had worked with him.

Everyone is very happy and in evening dress. They run to greet him, shake his hand, and reminisce about the good times they had while getting rich at the expense of the people.

They play a friendly game of golf and then dine on lobster, caviar and champagne.

Also present is the devil, who really is a very friendly & nice guy who has a good time dancing and telling jokes. They are having such a good time that before he realizes it, it is time to go.

Everyone gives him a hearty farewell and waves while the elevator rises....

The elevator goes up, up, up and the door reopens on heaven where St. Peter is waiting for him.

'Now it's time to visit heaven.'

So, 24 hours pass with the MP joining a group of contented souls moving from cloud to cloud, playing the harp and singing. They have a good time and, before he realizes it, the 24 hours have gone by and St. Peter returns.

'Well, then, you've spent a day in hell and another in heaven. Now choose your eternity.'

The MP reflects for a minute, then he answers: 'Well, I would never have said it before, I mean heaven has been delightful, but I think I would be better off in hell.'

So St. Peter escorts him to the elevator and he goes down, down, down to hell.

Now the doors of the elevator open and he's in the middle of a barren land covered with waste and garbage.

He sees all his friends, dressed in rags, picking up the trash and putting it in black bags as more trash falls from above.

The devil comes over to him and puts his arm around his shoulder. ' I don't understand,' stammers the MP.

'Yesterday I was here and there was a golf course and clubhouse, and we ate lobster and caviar, drank champagne, and danced and had a great time. Now there's just a wasteland full of garbage and my friends look miserable.

What happened? '

The devil looks at him, smiles and says; Yesterday we were campaigning...

Margarine was originally manufactured to fatten turkeys.
When it killed the turkeys, the people who had put
all the money into the research wanted a payback so they put their
heads together to figure out what to do with this product to get
their money back. It was a white substance with no food appeal
so they added the yellow colouring and sold it to people to use in place of butter.
How do you like it? They have come out with some clever new flavourings..

Elena Ravalli was a seemingly healthy 37-year-old when she began to experience strange attacks of vertigo, numbness, temporary vision loss and crushing fatigue. They were classic signs of multiple sclerosis, a potentially debilitating neurological disease.
It was 1995 and her husband, Paolo Zamboni, a professor of medicine at the University of Ferrara in Italy, set out to help. He was determined to solve the mystery of MS – an illness that strikes people in the prime of their lives but whose causes are unknown and whose effective treatments are few.
What he learned in his medical detective work, scouring dusty old books and using ultra-modern imaging techniques, could well turn what we know about MS on its head: Dr. Zamboni's research suggests that MS is not, as widely believed, an autoimmune condition, but a vascular disease.

More radical still, the experimental surgery he performed on his wife offers hope that MS, which afflicts 2.5 million people worldwide, can be cured and even largely prevented.
“I am confident that this could be a revolution for the research and diagnosis of multiple sclerosis,” Dr. Zamboni said in an interview.
Not everyone is so bullish: Skeptics warn the evidence is too scant and speculative to start rewriting medical textbooks. Even those intrigued by the theory caution that MS sufferers should not rush off to get the surgery – nicknamed the “liberation procedure” – until more research is done.
U.S. and Canadian researchers are trying to test Dr. Zamboni's premise.
For the Italian professor, however, the quest was both personal and professional and the results were stunning.
Fighting for his wife's health, Dr. Zamboni looked for answers in the medical literature. He found repeated references, dating back a century, to excess iron as a possible cause of MS. The heavy metal can cause inflammation and cell death, hallmarks of the disease. The vascular surgeon was intrigued – coincidentally, he had been researching how iron buildup damages blood vessels in the legs, and wondered if there could be a similar problem in the blood vessels of the brain.
Using ultrasound to examine the vessels leading in and out of the brain, Dr. Zamboni made a startling find: In more than 90 per cent of people with multiple sclerosis, including his spouse, the veins draining blood from the brain were malformed or blocked. In people without MS, they were not.
He hypothesized that iron was damaging the blood vessels and allowing the heavy metal, along with other unwelcome cells, to cross the crucial brain-blood barrier. (The barrier keeps blood and cerebrospinal fluid separate. In MS, immune cells cross the blood-brain barrier, where they destroy myelin, a crucial sheathing on nerves.)
More striking still was that, when Dr. Zamboni performed a simple operation to unclog veins and get blood flowing normally again, many of the symptoms of MS disappeared. The procedure is similar to angioplasty, in which a catheter is threaded into the groin and up into the arteries, where a balloon is inflated to clear the blockages. His wife, who had the surgery three years ago, has not had an attack since.
The researcher's theory is simple: that the underlying cause of MS is a condition he has dubbed “chronic cerebrospinal venous insufficiency.” If you tackle CCSVI by repairing the drainage problems from the brain, you can successfully treat, or better still prevent, the disease.
“If this is proven correct, it will be a very, very big discovery because we'll completely change the way we think about MS, and how we'll treat it,” said Bianca Weinstock-Guttman, an associate professor of neurology at the State University of New York at Buffalo.
The initial studies done in Italy were small but the outcomes were dramatic. In a group of 65 patients with relapsing-remitting MS (the most common form) who underwent surgery, the number of active lesions in the brain fell sharply, to 12 per cent from 50 per cent; in the two years after surgery, 73 per cent of patients had no symptoms.

Augusto Zeppi, a 40-year-old resident of the northern Italian city of Ferrara, was one of those patients. Diagnosed with MS nine years ago, he suffered severe attacks every four months that lasted weeks at a time – leaving him unable to use his arms and legs and with debilitating fatigue. “Everything I was dreaming for my future adult life, it was game over,” he said.
Scans showed that his two jugular veins were blocked, 60 and 80 per cent respectively. In 2007, he was one of the first to undergo the experimental surgery to unblock the veins. He had a second operation a year later, when one of his jugular veins was blocked anew.
After the procedures, Mr. Zeppi said he was reborn. “I don't remember what it's like to have MS,” he said. “It gave me a second life.”
Buffalo researchers are now recruiting 1,700 adults and children from the United States and Canada. They plan to test MS sufferers and non-sufferers alike and, using ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging, do detailed analyses of blood flow in and out of the brain and examine iron deposits.
Another researcher, Mark Haacke, an adjunct professor at McMaster University in Hamilton, is urging patients to send him MRI scans of their heads and necks so he can probe the Zamboni theory further. Dr. Haacke is a world-renowned expert in imaging who has developed a method of measuring iron buildup in the brain.
“Patients need to speak up and say they want something like this investigated … to see if there's credence to the theory,” he said.
MS societies in Canada and the United States, however, have reacted far more cautiously to Dr. Zamboni's conclusion. “Many questions remain about how and when this phenomenon might play a role in nervous system damage seen in MS, and at the present time there is insufficient evidence to suggest that this phenomenon is the cause of MS,” said the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada.
The U.S. society goes further, discouraging patients from getting tested or seeking surgical treatment. Rather, it continues to promote drug treatments used to alleviate symptoms, which include corticosteroids, chemotherapy agents and pain medication.
Many people with multiple sclerosis, though, are impatient for results. Chatter about CCSVI is frequent in online MS support groups, and patients are scrambling to be part of the research, particularly when they hear the testimonials.
Kevin Lipp, a 49-year-old resident of Buffalo, was diagnosed with MS a decade ago and has suffered increasingly severe attacks, especially in the heat. (Heat sensitivity is a common symptom of MS.) His symptoms were so bad that he was unable to work and closed his ice-cream shop.
Mr. Lipp was tested and doctors discovered blockages in both his jugular and azygos veins. In January of this year, he travelled to Italy for surgery, which cleared five blockages, and he began to feel better almost immediately.
“I felt good. I felt totally normal. I felt like I did years ago,” he said. He has not had an attack since.
As part of the research project, Mr. Lipp's siblings have also been tested. His two sisters, both of whom have MS, have significant blockages and iron deposits, while his brother, who does not have MS, has neither iron buildup nor blocked arteries.
While it has long been known that there is a genetic component to multiple sclerosis, the new theory is that it is CCSVI that is hereditary – that people are born with malformed valves and strictures in the large veins of the neck and brain. These problems lead to poor blood drainage and even reversal of blood flow direction that can cause inflammation, iron buildup and the brain lesions characteristic of multiple sclerosis.
It is well-established that the symptoms of MS are caused by a breakdown of myelin, a fatty substance that coats nerve cells and plays a crucial role in transmitting messages to the central nervous system. When those messages are blurred, nerves malfunction, causing all manner of woes, including blurred eyesight, loss of sensation in the limbs and even paralysis.
However, it is unclear what triggers the breakdown of myelin. There are various theories, including exposure to a virus in childhood, vitamin D deficiency, hormones – and now, buildup of iron in the brain because of poor blood flow.
While he is convinced of the significance of his discovery, Dr. Zamboni recognizes that medicine is slow to accept new theories and even slower to act on them. Regardless, he can take satisfaction in knowing that the woman who inspired the quest, and perhaps a dramatic breakthrough, has benefited tremendously.
Dr. Zamboni's wife, Elena, has undergone a battery of scans and neurological tests and her multiple sclerosis is, for all intents and purposes, gone.
“This is probably the best prize of the research,” he said.

An estimated 55,000-75,000 Canadians have multiple sclerosis, and every day three more people in Canada are diagnosed with the disease. Canada has one of the highest rates of MS in the world. MS is the most common neurological disease affecting young adults in Canada.
· Women are more than three times as likely as men to develop MS.
· MS can cause loss of balance, heat sensitivity, impaired speech, extreme fatigue, double vision and paralysis. The disease is characterized by lesions on the brain, a result of the breakdown of myelin, the protective covering wrapped around the nerves of the central nervous system.
· The most common treatment for MS is corticosteroids. Steroids reduce inflammation at the site of new demyelination, lessening symptoms.
· MS was first identified and described by French neurologist Jean-Martin Charcot in 1868.
· MS is widely believed to be an autoimmune disorder, but the cause or causes are unknown. There are a number of theories about what might trigger the disease, including exposure to a virus in childhood; exposure to tobacco smoke; lack of the female sex hormone prolactin, which plays a role in the development of myelin; and vitamin D deficiency. Vitamin D may play a role in MS because it helps to construct the interior layer of blood vessels.
· Despite the long-held assumption that MS is an autoimmune disorder, new research suggests it is actually a vascular disease triggered by a buildup of iron in the brain due to problems in blood flow.

It took a lot of courage for this man to speak what he had to say for the world to hear. The retribution could be phenomenal, but at least he was willing to take a stand on his and Australia's beliefs. Yes, allow those that want to come, to come. But understand that if you want to go to a country not of your birth, you should expect to live by their rules and respect their ways of life. This doesn't mean you have to give up yours. I think he explains it very well.

A man and his wife are awakened at 3 o'clock in the morning by a loud
pounding on the door. The man gets up and goes to the door where a
drunken stranger, standing in the pouring rain, is asking for a push.
"Not a chance," says the husband, "it is 3 o'clock in the morning!"
He slams the door and returns to bed.
"Who was that?" asked his wife.
"Just some drunk guy asking for a push," he answers..
"Did you help him?" she asks.
"No, I did not! It's 3 o'clock in the morning and it is pouring out there!"
Well, you have a short memory," says his wife. "Can't you remember about
three months ago when we broke down and those two guys helped us? I think
you should help him, and you should be ashamed of yourself!"
The man does as he is told, gets dressed, and goes out into the pounding rain.
He calls out into the dark, "Hello, are you still there?"
"Yes" comes back the answer.
"Do you still need a push?" calls out the husband.
"Yes, please!" comes the reply from the dark. "Where are you?"

STEVENS, Hilda Seeton

— 96, Truro, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on August 6, 2009, in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born in Belmont, she was a daughter of the late Willis and Minerva (Crowe) Roode. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Hilda graduated from the Provincial Normal College in 1931 and taught school throughout Colchester County. Brunswick Street United Church was one of her greatest enjoyments and she was a lifetime member of the UCW. She taught Explorers for a number of years. Hilda was famous for her crocheting and knitting. She was a member of the '45 Card Club for over 60 years made up initially of railroad wives. Her door was always open to family and friends. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by daughters, Eloise (Herman) Murphy, Fredericton, N.B.; Carol (Bruce) Wynn, Debert; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Lloyd; daughter, Judy Bonnyman; son-in-law, Bud Hudson; sisters, Myrtle Gazeley, Hazel Clarke, Erma Culgin, Jeanette Davison, Agnes Carruthers; brothers, Clarence, Arnold, Perley and Albert in infancy. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 9th from 1-2 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m. in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro with Rev. David Lutes officiating. This is a letter from a soldier serving his country. He makes a valid point, and I agree with him.

"Okay, I need to rant.

I was just watching the news, and I caught part of a report on Michael
Jackson . As we all know, Jackson died the other day. He was an
entertainer who performed for decades. He made millions, he spent
millions, and he did a lot of things that make him a villian to many
people. I understand that his death would affect a lot of people, and
I respect those people who mourn his death, but that isn't the point
of my rant.

Why is it that when ONE man dies, the whole of America loses their
minds with grief. When a man dies whose only contribution to the
country was to ENTERTAIN people, the Amercian people find the need to flock to a memorial in Hollywood , and even Congress sees the need to hold a "moment of silence" for his passing?

Am I missing something here? ONE man dies, and all of a sudden he's a freaking martyr because he entertained us for a few decades? What
about all those SOLDIERS who have died to give us freedom? All those
Soldiers who, knowing that they would be asked to fight in a war,
still raised their hands and swore to defend the Constitution and the
United States of America . Where is there moment of silence? Where
are the people flocking to their graves or memorials and mourning over them because they made the ultimate sacrifice? Why is it when a
Soldier dies, there are more people saying "good ridence," and "thank
God for IEDs?" When did this country become so calloused to the
sacrifice of GOOD MEN and WOMEN, that they can arbitrarily blow off
thier deaths, and instead, throw themselves into mourning for a "Pop
Icon?"

I think that if they are going to hold a moment of silence IN CONGRESS
for Michael Jackson, they need to hold a moment of silence for every
service member killed in Iraq and Afghanistan . They need to PUBLICLY
recognize every life that has been lost so that the American people
can live their callous little lives in the luxury and freedom that WE,
those that are living and those that have gone on, have provided for
them. But, wait, that would take too much time, because there have
been so many willing to make that sacrifice. After all, we will never
make millions of dollars. We will never star in movies, or write hit
songs that the world will listen too. We only shed our blood, sweat
and tears so that people can enjoy what they have.

Sorry if I have offended, but I needed to say it. Feel free to pass
this along if you want.

Remember these five words the next time you think of someone who is
serving in the military;

RIP Major Carl Norman Ray

Major Carl Norman Ray, eldest son of Isaac and Gladys (nee MacKenzie) Ray, born July 22, 1928 in Bad Heart, Alberta passed away at the QE II Hospital, with family around him, on Tuesday, March 24, 2009 after a lengthy and hard fought battle with cancer.

His over 30 years of service included service with the Royal Canadian Electrical/Mechanical Engineers during the Korean War and upon his return spent the balance of his service time with Canada’s elite force Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry.

He had many interests which he pursued but first and foremost was his great love for his family. His career path provided a means to open the world to his family and to teach the appreciation of its beauty and adventure in the many different forms it takes. He was a wonderful teacher.

He is survived by his wife and love of his life for more than their 55 years of marriage, Hilda Leona (Burton), his children Elaine (Todd), Valerie (Kim), Alexandra (Rudy), Michael, Norma (Joel), his grandchildren Stefan, Joy, Matthew, Jordan, Lucas and great grandson Nikolis. He is also survived by his sister Betty Marie Curran, his brother Earl Lester Ray and a great many nieces and nephews. He loved, inspired, supported and his presence will be missed so very much even though he will always be in our thoughts, hearts and souls. We will feel his arms around us, the kisses on our cheeks and hear the whispers in our ears. We hope that, along with others that have gone before him that he was met by his 4-legged loves, which he always shared morning toast with over the years, covering him with their wet kisses and keeping him company and reminding him of what a remarkable man he is and one that can never be forgotten.

We would like to thank all of the doctors, nurses and staff at the QE II who did their utmost for his treatment care and comfort; they were wonderful.

The Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry will be holding their 100 year anniversary celebration in Ottawa next year which he had full intention of attending. Even though he will not be able to attend it in person, his spirit will be there with his comrades and friends as they parachute one last time in its honour and celebration.

By his request, there will be no memorial service and an internment with family gathering will take place at a later time. Email condolences may be sent to: hilda.ray@ns.sympatico.ca

The following poem was a favorite of his and all that know and love him know that it epitomizes this brave, proud and dignified husband/father/soldier/friend and gentleman:

I had been told to get in touch with my local Legion, as they assist the disabled with this type of stuff. I got the word back that there is nothing around for me to use.This was a big disappointment for me as I was really counting on their help, but no luck.

Those of you brave enough will, in time, be allowed to play rugby (which has some similarities to American football, but does not involve stopping for a rest every twenty seconds or wearing full kevlar body armour like a bunch of nancies).
13. Further, you will stop playing baseball. It is not reasonable to host an event called the World Series for a game which is not played outside of America. Since only 2.1% of you are aware there is a world beyond your borders, your error is understandable.
14. You must tell us who killed JFK. It's been driving us mad.

A seagull in Scotland has developed the habit of stealing chips from a

I almost cried when I saw this picture.

It shows the importance of being properly strapped in.

A friend sent this photo of a horrible highway accident in Holland.

The picture may be kind of hard to take for some of you.
If you look closely you can see what appear to be some survivors of the accident still in the wreckage. Although the picture is quite graphic, it makes you
realize how quickly our loved ones can be taken from us.

My friend stayed on the scene to help and even though he performed mouth to
mouth on quite a few of them, none apparently survived.

I have confirmed the unexplainable feeling that I had in the early 1990’s; it started inside my right leg as a pinprick and exploded into a numbing throb within a year. I have the same feelings on my right middle finger for the last two weeks.

Many times I have said that I would not wish this feeling on anybody, it can be described as complete and utter fatigue coupled with intense white hot pain radiating from the right knee all at the same time. It rises and falls in intensity like the waters do, but never completely goes away.

The rational would be then that if I were to cut my finger off now the spread of pain might be stopped. All my intelligent logic tells me that this is a very stupid idea, but then again it is not logic that will help me with the pain that sativex combined with dilaudid and neurontin cannot.

I am going to think on this for a bit.

My friends and I were on a beer run and noticed that the cases were discounted 10%. Since it was a big party, we bought 2 cases. The cashier multiplied 2 times 10% and gave us a 20% discount.

A Doctor in Nova Scotia wanted to get off work and go hunting, so he approached his assistant "George, I am going hunting tomorrow and don't want to close the clinic. I want you to take care of the clinic and take care of all of ou r patients".

"Yes, sir!" answers George.

The doctor goes hunting and returns the following day and asks: "So, George, How was your day?"

George told him that he took care of three patients. "The first one had a headache so I gave him TYLENOL."

"Bravo Mate, and the second one?" asks the doctor.

"The second one had stomach burning and I gave him MAALOX, sir" says George.

"Bravo, bravo! You're good at this and what about the third one?" asks The doctor.

"Sir, I was sitting here and suddenly the door opens and a woman enters. Like a flame, she undresses herself, taking off everything including her bra and her panties and lies down on the table, spreading her legs and shouts: 'HELP ME! For five years I have not seen any man!'"

Review Tracking Neurological Disorders Shows 1 in 1,000 Americans Have Multiple Sclerosis

Jan. 29, 2007 -- Multiple sclerosis (MS)Multiple sclerosis (MS) may be 50% more common in the U.S. than previously thought, according to a new research review.
The review from the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke says almost one in 1,000 people in the U.S. have MS.
However, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society says that figure could still be low.
The society points out that the review's estimate of MS prevalence (the number of people with MS) works out to about 266,000 people.
But the society says it has "over 300,000 people" in its database who say they have MS.

The Review

The review's researchers included Deborah Hirtz, MD, of the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke, which is part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
They analyzed 500 studies published from 1990 to 2005 to track MS and 11 other neurological disorders. Their findings appear in the Jan. 30 issue of Neurology.
Since high-quality U.S. data on most disorders were lacking, the researchers often applied data from other countries to the U.S. population.
That approach isn't ideal, the researchers admit. They call for better studies to track neurological disorders in the U.S.

Still, they say their findings show "the burden of neurologic illness affects many millions of people in the United States."

Multiple Sclerosis Findings
"Our estimate of MS prevalence is about 50% higher than a comprehensive review from 1982," Hirtz says in an American Academy of Neurology news release.
"Whether this reflects improvement in diagnosis or whether incidence is actually increasing deserves further study," Hirtz says.

A story that happened way back....

Young King Arthur was ambushed and imprisoned by the monarch of a
neighboring kingdom. The monarch could have killed him but was moved by
Arthur's youth and ideals. So, the monarch offered him his freedom, as long
as he could answer a very difficult question. Arthur would have a year to
figure out the answer and, if after a year, he still had no answer, he
would be put to death.

The question? What do women really want? Such a question would perplex
even the most knowledgeable man, and to young Arthur, it seemed an
impossible query. But, since it was better than death, he accepted the
monarch's proposition to have an answer by year's end.

He returned to his kingdom and began to poll everyone: the princess, the
priests, the wise men and even the court jester. He spoke with everyone,
but no one could give him a satisfactory answer. Many people advised him to
consult the old witch, for only she would have the answer.

But the price would be high; as the witch was famous throughout the
kingdom for the exorbitant prices she charged.

The last day of the year arrived and Arthur had no choice but to talk to
the witch. She agreed to answer the question, but he would have to agree to
her price first.

The old witch wanted to marry Sir Lancelot, the most noble of the Knights
of the Round Table and Arthur's closest friend! Young Arthur was horrified.
She was hunchbacked and hideous, had only one tooth, smelled like sewage,
made obscene noises, etc. He had never encountered such a repugnant
creature in all his life.

He refused to force his friend to marry her and endure such a terrible
burden; but Lancelot, learning of the proposal, spoke with Arthur.

He said nothing was too big of a sacrifice compared to Arthur's life and
the preservation of the Round Table.

Hence, a wedding was proclaimed and the witch answered Arthur's question
thus:

What a woman really wants, she answered.... is to be in charge of her own
life.

Everyone in the kingdom instantly knew that the witch had uttered a great
truth and that Arthur's life would be spared.

And so it was, the neighboring monarch granted Arthur his freedom and
Lancelot and the witch had a wonderful wedding.

The honeymoon hour approached and Lancelot, steeling himself for a
horrific experience, entered the bedroom. But, what a sight awaited him.
The most beautiful woman he had ever seen lay before him on the bed. The
astounded Lancelot asked what had happened

The beauty replied that since he had been so kind to her when she
appeared as a witch, she would henceforth, be her horrible deformed self
only half the time and the beautiful maiden the other half.

Which would he prefer? Beautiful during the day....or night?

Lancelot pondered the predicament. During the day, a beautiful woman to
show off to his friends, but at night, in the privacy of his castle, an old
witch? Or, would he prefer having a hideous witch during the day, but by
night, a beautiful woman for him to enjoy wondrous intimate moments?

Upon hearing this, she announced that she would be beautiful all the

THE LAW IS THE LAW?

I hope this makes its way around CANADA several times over!!!

So if the CANADIAN government determines that it is against the law for the words "under God" to be on our money, then, so be it.

And if that same government decides that the "Ten
Commandments" are not to be used in or on a government
installation, then, so be it.

And since they already have prohibited any prayer in the
schools, on which they deem their authority, then so be it.

I say, "so be it," because I would like to be a law abiding
Canadian citizen.

I say, "so be it," because I would like to think that smarter people than I are in positions to make good decisions.

I would like to think that those people have the Canadian
Public's best interests at heart.

BUT, YOU KNOW WHAT ELSE I'D LIKE?

Since we can't pray to God, can't Trust in God and cannot
post His Commandments in Government buildings, I don't
believe the Government and its employees should
participate in the Easter and Christmas.... celebrations
which honor the God that our government is eliminating
from many facets of Canadian life.

I'd like my mail delivered on Christmas, Good Friday,
Thanksgiving & Easter. After all, it's just another day.

I'd like our Government to be in session on Christmas,
Good Friday,Thanksgiving & Easter as well as Sundays.
After all, it's just another day.

I'd like ALL Representatives to not have to worry about
getting home for the "Christmas Break." After all ~~~
it's just another day.

I'm thinking that a lot of my taxpayer dollars could be saved, if all government offices & services would work on Christmas, Good Friday & Easter. It shouldn't cost any overtime since those would be just like any other day of the week to a government that is trying to be "politically correct."

In fact....

I think that our government should work on Sundays (initially set aside for worshipping God...) because, after all, our government says that it should be just another day....

SLAPPED THE OTHER ONE
IN THE FACE.

THE ONE WHO GOT SLAPPED
WAS HURT, BUT WITHOUT
SAYING ANYTHING,
WROTE IN THE SAND:

TODAY MY BEST FRIEND
SLAPPED ME IN THE FACE.

THEY KEPT ON WALKING,
UNTIL THEY FOUND AN OASIS,
