This is a growing testament to a star.
The time when a person slows down enough to reflect is comforting to say the least.
When I reflect on Bud everything is so bright and warm. My fond memories started when I was born, and never wavered. I have nothing but love and respect for my father.
When a question arose of what course to take, the decision was made easier for me to say “what would Bud do”, and the best always was the answer.
If there was ever a person who made better for all involved out of everyone that his life touched, that is a very special person. His name is Bud, and I am very privileged to call him my father.
As a child I was home for lunch one day as my dad walked in also. He asks us all “Am I walking funny?” “No, why?” was our reply. “I just had an irate customer stuff a stove up my bum. I was hoping nobody noticed.” He was like a duck, it all rolled off his back.”
His passing Dec 25, 2001 is a day I will never forget, on that day I lost my best friend. His love and compassion for others is my legacy.
It is 2006 , 5 years since and I have you in my heart and mind everyday. Today I honor your life again Bud. I salute you sir. Your loving son Todd
